Macelleria A. Donegana was founded in 1956 when father Andrea, a butcher with a passion for delicatessen meats, took over his uncle’s old butcher shop in the municipality of Moltrasio (CO).
A family tradition that has continued to this day, a passion passed down to his children, who today continue the family business in the municipality of Carate Urio (CO).
In 2015, it was awarded the Historic Shop Award after more than 50 years of business.

Since the 1960s, we have focused on product quality and control over our supply chain. On the family farm in Figino Serenza (CO), the world’s most renowned breed, the purebred Piedmontese, is raised with scrupulous care.
We have selected a select few veal producers to ensure the highest quality of our cattle, consistency (guaranteed year-round), and the utmost well-being.
